INFORMATION
All campers must have their own medical coverage. Campers will not be allowed to participate unless the following information is provided. This form must be signed by the parent or guardian of the camper. There will be no refunds but Showcase credit will be given for future events.
*This Showcase/Camp is open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender)
Description: FAMU Baseball Prospect Showcase is not an instructional camp, but a showcase event for any player 2027 and older (including JUCO and Grad Transfers) that are interested in playing and attending FAMU. The event will be a pro-style workout directed by the FAMU Baseball coaching staff. Participants will take BP, outfield play, infield play, catcher pop-times, and pitchers will throw bullpens.
TENTATIVE SCHEDULE
8:30 – Registration (Position Players & Two-way Players)
9:00 – Welcome & Staff Introductions
9:15 – Stretch, Agilities & Throwing Program
9:30 – Showcase Begins (Pro Style Workouts)
11:00 – Batting Practice (Two rounds of 8 swings)
11:30 – Pitcher Only Registration
12:30 – Lunch Break / Two-way Players & Pitcher Only Players Throw on Mound
1:30 – Rattler Position Play
2:30 – Additional Batting Practice (One round of 8)
TPD – Showcase Concludes
What to wear/bring: FAMU Baseball will not provide gloves, cleats, bats. Wear pants (no shorts), a hat, and either a travel ball shirt or high school shirt. Helmets will be provided if necessary.
